Unless the tool matches the 2, 3 or 4 tangs of the tap you are out of luck before you begin.

I always find those in old toolboxes in a twisted rusty wad at the back of a drawer. I don`t know why they still make them, if more mechanics put the word out maybe they'll go away

MrPete says in his video he's found the same thing, but points out the fingers were a replaceable part, and much cheaper than the whole tool.
