I just wanted to share some pleasant surprises I found under the rust when cleaning some of my hammers.
Found the following:
Vulcan Dynamic
Craftsman Handyman
Champion DeArment
True Temper (this one was not cleaned up yet - I just put some chalk on it to show the name)

Out of curiosity, how do you determine the age of the hammers?

The Champion deArment hammer was almost certainly made before 1963 since the company changed their name to Channellock that year. Here is a link to the company history. The photo shows my Channellock and Champion marked hammers.
