I just came back from NAPA because I needed a rear/wheel bearing for my Corvette, and much to my surprise, I was able to save 20% by buying a $0.99 bag and any two other items that would fit in the bag.

Please elaborate, do you get 20% off the two things in the bag as well?

Yeah, it's been going on for a few weeks. My store screwed it up and gave me 20% off the bag and charged full price for the three cans of brake cleaner. I should have paid attention more closely.

Unfortunately my store hates these promos and the owner is a d-bag so I'm trying not to support them any longer. I wish I could like my Napa. One problem with franchises......

However I preferred using the bag for groceries last night over other re-useable grocery bags.....even if I am promoting Napa (theoretically). IOW it's a grocery bag fitting for a gear head.

Are the bags big enough to fit a car battery in? Group 51 is what I need now, so not a big ones like my truck needs. Or does a battery fall into " Some exclusions apply."

I thought mine was the only one that has went downhill. All new people, no one knows anything, very rude, terrible customer service. Been going more and more to Oreillys.

Probably depends on the store. I found out about this yesterday and talking to the guy there he pretty much said that store was pretty open to what would fit in the bag. Nothing like a radiator but he pretty much said if it was close it would count for them. Same if one item filled the whole bag and the other two items wouldnt fit (like three car batteries) they would still give the discount.

But itll vary by store Im sure.

Wow. I guess I'm lucky to have a good bunch of guys in the local store. I didn't know about the deal and he told me about it and to just get some washer fluid or something as it was really cheap.

Last week I used the bag deal to get brake pads and two rotors for our van.
