I just want to verify that NHT sockets where made by Danaher. Looking to fill a hole in my 3/4" set with reasonable priced US made sockets. Hoping to to keep the form factor of my mismatched Craftsman, Allen, and Masterforce set. I had a Craftsman industrial on order through Summit for months and have told me it is discontinued form the manufacturer.

They are probably owned by Danaher are you referring to napa brand or carlyle

Not necessarily. It depends on the vintage. NHT is just a part number prefix. In the old days NAPA professional hand tools were made by Armstrong and we're basically the same as KD, Allen, Craftsman & others. However, that hasn't been the case for more than a few years now. NHT could also be a Gearwrench clone or, in the case of Carlyle, made by someone else in Taiwan. Carlyle and non US made NAPA tools have nothing to do with the old Danaher days. You would have judge each tool on a tool by tool basis.
