NAPA impact swivels?

Are these any good? All my impact sockets are NAPA and I'm kind of OCD so I'd like to stay with them for my swivels if they're decent http://www.napaonline.com/Catalog/C...low-Universal-Metric/_/R-NPT610210_0006572281

My only experience with their swivels was a 3/8 swivel adapter that I killed with a 3/4 gun...

They are good, use them some, not a whole lot, ibthink I paid right around 100 bucks for mine

I'm also interested... Their price is good and they feel solid but I'm not sure about how they hold up to use. Holding them in store they don't swivel as smoothly as a snap-on or mac but they still have very little resistance. The rest of my napa products are great so I would probably hold these to a similar standard (I'm also a diesel tech so my napa stuff gets used hard)

I reallyreallyreallyreally like my Matcos. They don't have any weird cam action to them, any position you can put them in, you can use them in. Of course if you get the angle way off they eat a lot of torque, but that's true of any swivel.

I got mine for a little more than twice what those sell for paying cash. Still not cheap but didn't hurt nearly as bad, and they're some of my most-used sockets.

Out of Grey/Sunex/Napa, I'd buy what I could warranty easy. They might all be made on the same line in Taiwan.

I will pretty much guaranty they are identical to sunnex.

NAPA is uber easy to warranty but Grey Pneumatic's are cheaper and slightly more compact...

Have you seen the GP's in person? I've found that Gearwrench, GP, and Sunex impact swivels are all pretty much identical. Those look to be the same design as the other 3.. If they are they are pretty rugged but will occasionally grenade after a real *** kicking. The good new is, is they just seem to get stuck and stop spinning rather than sending parts across the shop when they do blow.

None of those will articulate as much as snap-on or matcos but that doesn't mean they wont make you a ton of money at a helluva price

I haven't seen the GP's in person but it looks like the collar isn't quite so enormous on them as the NAPA's.

... and I concur on the getting stuck failure. The one NAPA swivel I had bent the pin when I put an IR 2145 on it. I knew better.

I love my Matco swivels... Have the set for every drive size SAE and Metric. Found out after I bought them that C-man and Armstrong are the same exact sockets. Shop around.

matco 10-119mm 3/8ths drive set at student discount is like 170.... i cant imagine not spending the extra 70 bucks ! =)

I bought the NAPA's and quite like them... Both my 3/8 and 1/2 Matco swivel adapters are locked up after using only a few times on my IR impacts.

I found the hard way that the Matco design will not hold up to constant hammering at any degree other than straight (IE. Stuck bolt that takes a while to break loose). Get the bolt out and try to flex the swivel and it won't move
