It seems to be KD. They have the same kit (with some cosmetic differences) with the same stock or part number.

I have the blue point kit just like that. Now it looks like snap on only sells the smaller kit with less adapters. I've used it a handful of times and really like it. Also used it to press a chevy timing gear on.

I noticed the cal-van on amazon linked to above gets some pretty bad reviews. Lots of adapters breaking off in the crank. Wonder if they had a bad batch or if they changed material or process? Or maybe user error? Just seems funny that there are so many breaking off adapters in the crank?

My 360 takes the 3/4-16 bolt adaptor (biggest in the set) so hopefully this will not break off in the crank. I would really be pissed.

I take reviews like those with a grain of salt since we don't know the skill level of those using them. They may have a problem and snap easy but it may be a case of user error. I lube mine when using and never had a problem. Be interesting to find out why they are breaking them.

Yes, mine will be lubed and I will take it slow. I will also apply a small amount of oil to the end of the crankshaft as well as the front timing cover seal.

I remember telling a newby in the shop ( that insisted on using a ratchet and deep socket ) to hold the head of his ratchet in one hand and pull the handle with the other. In this case he shoulda used a wrench. He didn't listen, he pulled the handle with both hands and even had a short extension between the ratchet and socket ( which wasn't needed ) and he caused to much side load and broke the threaded stud off in the crank and the install tool fell to the floor. He didn't ignore future, ''friendly advice'' after that.
