Just picked up a USA NAPA 3/8 drive deep socket set 10-19 mm for $25.00. Etched sizes like craftsman/armstrong. I figure they are of Danaher manufacture. Will be using them in an industrial environment building machine tools. Let me know your input regarding quality. Thanks !

I have the Napa professional standard length combination wrenches in metric and Napa professional wrenches in sae and metric for line wrenches. Love them.

The etching on mine wore off in time. Other then that, they are basically the same socket as a Craftsman, Napa, Danaher conglomerate. I never did crack one however. They should be ok.

I have a complete set in 3/8. In general, I think they are nicer than Craftsman; more on the lines of Armstrong. I like them a lot.

If that was the new price that's a good deal. I think they have a lifetime warranty too but not sure of the specifics on that (would be replaced with (apparently not apex) current stock nowadays probably; I think that's who supplies napa now). I think the quality is similar to the mid-tier craftsman usa stuff from the past which is pretty good in my opinion.

I wouldn't worry about getting a carlyle as a replacement. The carlyle sockets aren't usa made but they are just as good if not better. Your'e not going to break those in normal use anyway.
