I get the make the choice! Am I going to regret not having the extra space a HD 9ST won't have at 89 3/4" between columns, or would I miss not having the 100 1/4 inches that the standard HD 9 offers?

Stored on it will be a 69 Mustang and a 67 Fairlane underneath, or vise versa. I would like the option to work on a full size Ford pick up, or who knows a maybe a GTO, Lemans, or a Galaxy some day. I have a 3 car attached garage, with one double door, and about three feet, of space, then a single car bay. I plan on putting it in the single bay. There are no posts or anything in the way inside, I just want space.

So, in a nutshell, what am I losing going with a narrow as opposed to standard width 4 post lift?

Full size Ford pickup? I'm not sure a full size Ford pickup will fit between the posts of a narrow lift with the mirrors folded. I went with a wide and have maybe an inch or two of clearance for the unfolded mirrors of my F250. My guess is you'll have to fold at least one mirror to fit a full size Ford on a standard width lift and I would pay close attention to the runway width spec, as it is very possible that the wheels will not fit or will substantially overhang the outsides of the runways with a full size pickup.

I have the narrow long lift and it is perfect for me as the wide lift would take up too much room. I have had my '79 F250 pickup on it with no problems but had to fold in the mirrors.
