I haven't taken the covers off, but I think they're 4.27.

Sometimes there is the tag still on one of the cover bolts-usually one number over another. Any idea of the year?

The tag is there, but I can't read it. The hood that was with them had the knockout, so it was an early CJ5.

I am currently running 5.38's and would like to gear down-if you could determine the gear ratio they may be what I am looking for.
