Nasty floor coating (pics inside)

My garage floor looks terrible. I assume the previous owner painted it but I don't know what was used. I'm wondering if anyone has seen this before and has any low-effort ideas for improving it.

I think most coating systems would be out of the question considering how much oil has been spilled on the floor. Last year my brother was good for a couple full quarts of oil (oil drain plug ended up clogging the hole in the drain pan). Sorry if the pics are too big!

Break out the grinder and have at it.

You could put a RaceDeck floor over that in a matter of a few hours.

Yep i agree No mess no hassles no worry ..and quick to lay..if you were gonna grind it i would get a professional to grind it back

What about using a high speed floor buffer with something like a grinding pad. Just an idea
