OK so I am converting a furnace back to natural gas from propane that was converted by another contractor a few years ago, My question is is there a way to tell JUST BY LOOKING at the springs that were left inside the unit if they are natural gas springs or LP springs. It is a trane unit and the orfices are obvious due to size but I want to make sure the 2 springs that were left behind ( with the orfices ) are indeed N.G. springs. are they a different size, color, shape lenth or what.
