Natural gas quick connect question

My wife and I purchased a house which has a new Gas-Flo natural gas quick connect outside for the barbecue. However we have an old Weber (2004) barbecue and the gas line from the barbecue does not click or lock in place when connected to the female outlet on the house. The male end from the barbecue fits in the female end on the house but I could be easily pulled out. Is it possible to purchase an adapter or a new male end for the barbecue line and have it recrimped? Thanks in advance :)

.........and I'm an idiot. Just solved my own problem. I wasnt pushing hard enough. Put a little more force into my push and it locked in place. LOL

I did the same thing with my QC pressure washer tip last week. Didn't notice it until I started the pump and it shot 60-feet across the driveway.

Luckily it wasn't pointed at anyone.

Glad you got it figured out. I hate it when I can't seem to push my male end in hard enough to achieve lock...
