I saw a set of SDDX70AB on ebay already today and those cheaper handle markings really look like ****.
Now the ratcheting screwdriver...that I might want!

^ Jeffery, I remember you saying that the plastic is not the same quality as the the older screwdrivers; do you still feel that way?

Well, I hope at least the new screwdriver handles still have the grain molded into the handles like the old screwdrivers did; that grain adds traction for grip.

They are so rare they were never actually made!

They are so rare that if you want to use them, you have to do so inside the temporal field produced by a Snap-on TimeDrive™ time machine, or else the paradox of their non-existence and existence occuring at the same time will break the laws of physics and cause the universe to cease to exist.

They have the same "grain" molded in. The plastic is about the same quality, the main difference is that the new drivers have the logo printed on it whereas the old ones had the logo hot stamped in so it wouldnt wear off. Also, the old mini screwdrivers and pick sets had a hex bolster and knurling on the shaft, whereas the new ones just have a plain chrome shaft

So if Fathers day color was yellow last year and blue this year, Mothers day was pink last year. What will the Mothers day color be this year?

Still should be pink.

I used to work with a woman who picked up a lavender/light purple ratcheting screwdriver years ago as a mother's day promo but for the last decade if not longer, I've only seen pink tools on promo for MD on my trucks.

I would figure somebody is putting some sort of new ingredient in the snap-on kool-aid this year, dont get me wrong, I love tools (of course namely snap-on ones) but I would have to be high on something to agree to that price.

Ha!!!

I just LOL'd. Then LOL'd again. Then threw up in my mouth a little.

Snap-On is seldom the pinnacle of fashion design, so unless RayBan's, Maui Jim's, Oakley's or some higher end mfgr. I smell an epic swag fail.

I've BTDT so I know. Yes Snap-On, I'm lookin' at you. You wanna-be S-O Project Runway brand managers. Camo Snappy-On Carhartt winter jacket giveaway. Yes, I love mine. Flame design hats and girlie gear. C'mon. :)
