Here are a few of the shop and a few of the garage. I'll go ahead and put out the disclaimer I just live here. My mom loves me :bounce:

My pops did all the stone work on the garage and if your good you notice that they are built to look exactly the same.

The shop is where the dirty work happens and the garage is where all the stuff that gets tossed out of the house lands before it makes it to the shop.

thanks guys. but the credit goes to my dad he was a stone mason by trade and did a great job. All the stone is local rock that was hand picked from local quarries.

I wish it was that green right now

What is the hangsman noose for on the shop?.

We have used it for just about everything you can think of. Picture this: I have a cab from a 1977 Ford 150 strapped to a rope that goes up to the pulley. The plan is to lift up the cab and then put it in the back of the F-350 and haul it off. Well we aren't strong enough to pull the cab skyward. So we back the F-3 down the drive way right up to the cab. Then in front of the truck we attach the rope to the Jeep. We then back the Jeep up the hill and pick the cab off of the ground. Then we back the F-3 under the cab and gently lower it back down in to the bed of the truck.

I'm not entirely sure exactly how much weight that beam can hold that far out or how much the eye bolt and pulley are rated for but it hung in there and we got it done. I don't think that I will ever do that again. That was a few years ago and I have learned a few safety lessons sense then won't mess with fate that much.

I like pics. I'm sure you guys do too. You can see how the stone wraps around to the front of the house as well.
