NCIS Toolbox

A light question for a Sunday afternoon ....

Anyone who has watched a few NCIS episodes, has probably encountered a scene or two that was staged in the NCIS forensics garage. Abby does some of her magic there analyzing various vehicles and finding key clues to the crime .... along with a few interesting shots of Abby or Ziva's backside bending over a fender etc.

Anyway, back to topic .... in most of these garage-situations, there is a very nice looking tool chest, bottom and top chest, often seen in the background ..... red with chrome or aluminum pulls. Has anyone ever gotten a good enough look at this tool chest to identify make, size or model?

It's a Snap On KR650/655 combo. I have one that's how I know what it is. Every time I see it I tell my wife "Hey, look, my tool box is a TV star!" and she tells me to sue for royalties!

I watch NCIS all the time, I've never seen a tool box in any scene with Kate or Ziva in it.

There is definitely good product placement on that Show, Snap-on, Carhartt just to mention a couple. Oh and that Wiskey Jethro drinks

When they (anyone of the cast) are downstairs in the garage, there are Snap-On toolbox in the background.

The old CHiPS show also has Snappy tool boxes, but the name has tape over it.

As well as SureFire flashlights but that's tru for most of the investigative/law enforcement shows.

I notice Snap-On & Mac tool boxes in most of the mini series shows on TV but on the automotive DIY shows & notice Matco boxes & tools the most.

She sure did a good job of hiding that. Heard Sasha was on Dawson's Creek but never knew Pauley was. I never noticed them any how but I don't remember watching that show.

Also would not have thought Pauley was that old!

I started watching NCIS because of Kate. There's just something about her smile & character.

Ziva sure is a good (hot) replacement though.

I found it. Kates sister is played by Wendy Makkena who really looks like Kate. She played Rachel Todd

She's got heterochromia - two different colored eyes. Not sure if anyone noticed, but it's cool as hell.. not very common

Actually it's not Heterochromia......it's a birthmark within the eye itself. It makes it look like the eyes are two different colors but the fact is that the majority of the eye color is actually the pupil which is enlarged. It's almost the same type of thing that you would see if you happened upon someone who had had a serious blow to the head with brain damage.

To be technical about her eye, it's actually called "Nevus if Ota" and it's not actually a birthmark either. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nevus_of_Ota

Somewhat on topic. If anyone watches the show "King of Queens" with Kevin James & Leah Remini; in the garage they have a KR657 bottom box, then in the later years of the show they added the matching KR637 top box. Must have needed more storage space.

I wonder if this is secretive product advertisement.
