We pass through Strasburg often on route to visit my wife's parents in Old Washington. We used to bring our deer to Strasburg Provision for processing back in the day.

Strasburg Provision no longer exists.

The health department found Lysteria bacteria in some of the meat. The meat was recalled, but ultimately the health department shut them down. This was around 2011 or so, after the Klapper family had sold the business to Valley Farm Meats.

Yeah, I know it is long gone. We used them in the early 1980's.
