Dad had the "raw-hide" mallet (as he called it) in his tractor tool box for use when installing farmer implements. No telling how old that mallet was.

I was down at his old tractor shed last week and couldn't find it. Bet that thing was 45 years old.

Thor hammers are distributed in the US through Anglo American tools. Anglo American is the exclusive national agent for Knipex so I would expect you could order Thor hammers from any Knipex dealer.

One of the shops I used to work for years ago, had a Thor hammer that we used for knock-off wire wheels. Since then, I have had it in the back of my mind to get one some day. It was a very nice hammer.

Agreed MickeyO. You see rawhide gives my dog gas.....nasty reaction I tell ya. I don't think we need rawhide hammers here!
