Nebraska transplant

Hello everyone, My name is mike, originally from Nebraska but now live in Massachusetts. I have been a long time member, but just recently started building a new shop/garage.

I have learned alot reading the forums and have also asked some questions. I look forward to being more involved.

Hey Mike, welcome from another Mike. I lived in Massachusetts (Boston) back in the early '60s when my dad was getting his masters degree at MIT.

Welcome. I’ve been to both Nebraska and Massachusetts for business travel in the last couple years. Both are nice places, but for different reasons.

I bought a ball cap from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln as a souvenir. I can’t believe how many comments and questions I get around Virginia when I wear it. It usually goes something like this
Other person: Nebraska, you from there?
Me: nope, just a souvenir
Other person then proceeds to tell me their connection to Nebraska. You’d think by claiming it as merely a souvenir they would just let it go because I have no real connection.
