Auto techs, do you find yourself using any neck lights and if so do you like them in an automotive garage setting?

I see the Snap On one that looks similar to the EZ Red one that can be a neck light or hat light.

I had one didn't like it as much as a head lamp, getting it to point where you are looking is a pain.
Same problem I have with them. My electrician friend thinks they are the greatest thing ever but working on electrical panel directly in front of you is way different that automotive work.

At I work I mainly use neck lights, almost all of us at work do.

The Snap-on looks similar to EZ-RED cause it's made by EZ-RED, so are the Matcos, Cat, Kobalt, Realtree, ChrisFix, etc. Cause EZ-RED still holds the patent.

Here's my preferences. I use an Icon puck light as a supplement when needed. I'm not a fan of headlamps or stick lights.

I use EZ Red all day every day. As mentioned, if you're looking into a narrow space it is often misaligned. In that case I just put them around my ears for a minute, but 95% they are around my neck. As others mentioned, I supplement with a stick light or similar.

Only turn wrenches for fun.

Have the EZ-Red neck light and it was okay, but when it was around my neck I found my head would get in the way of the light beam. To fix this I started wearing it like a headband, but it would fall off a lot.
Then got the Snap On ECHDF042 High-Tech Headlamp and I love this thing, hands down the best headlamp out there.

Thank you that's the one I saw somewhere on social media. You prevented me from buying the wrong one.
