I read about him when I was a kid and was fascinated by the armor he had made for himself and his crew. The story I read painted him as the "Australian Billy the Kid"! Anyway, I always laughed that Mick Jagger portrayed him in one of the films. Ned certainly wasn't a pretty boy.

Been a few films made about him. Yes a Pom playing an Irish Aussie Imigrant does not make much sense.
