Nee shower flood test

I am building a curbless shower in the shop .
They say to flood test it to make sure it doesn't leak.
How do you do that with a shower with no curb?

I guess i can fill it as much as I can but is there another way and something I'm not thinking of?

This is as far as I've gotten so far. Will finish the Kerdi tape and float tomorrow.

Yes I suppose that's what I'll have to do.
However I'm starting to think just fill it as deep as I can because it will never be higher than that even with a stopped up drain and just run out into the bathroom floor.

Correct, but the flood test is also to test the transitions/joints/seals at the drain as well as the wall seals/transitions. You shouldn't ever get any "pressure" from standing water build up at the wall to floor transition, but the drain will.
