Hello,

I need to buy a 1/4" torque wrench to torque down the bolts on my valve cover (79 in lbs). What is a good one to buy? I have the 3/8" split beam from pi but they don't make a 1/4". I hate to say it, but should i just get a craftsman:confused:

I have a CDI 2502MRPH, which has a 3/8" drive, but the torque range is 30-250 inlb. They also make a 1/4" drive with a 20-150 inlb range. They can be found online for about the same price you paid for your PI.

The Craftsman Microtork wrenches are not that much cheaper, and people complain about the plastic lock ring breaking.
