Hey Guys I have a complete Hydrolics 2 post lift. It has 2 powerrex electric solenoids that allow the safety locks to go up and the lift to go down. Out of the 2 only one is working which means the lift can go up but not down. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement. I called the company and they want an arm and a leg. I was hoping to get one from the manufacture but no luck locating them. Just thought that I would ask.

Did you email Powerrex directly? I found them to be very responsive (located in S. Korea). They could likely give you the specs. of the solenoid so you could find a sub that you could get locally. email address is [email protected] - contact name is Jay Lee.

Well I found out yesterday that the solenoid was not the issue. I think that it must be in the wiring? How do I test the wiring?

That is usually the problem with lifts that use limit switches.
It is most likely a limit switch that has two wires going to it.
Not sure if normally open or normally closed circuit.
Try to bypass the switch by tying the two wires together or separating the two wires. It should work in one of those two configurations.
