Need 4-post lift recommendations

Looking to pickup a 4-post lift mainly to be used for extra garage storage and light vehicle maintenance, so I'm guessing a 7 or 8K capacity unit would be fine.

I'd prefer to have the unit delivered and installed if that service is available in NE Ohio.

Recommendations/Suggestions?

Anyone?
I know about the major lift sellers, but as far as I know, none provide installation.

Have you contacted a retailer for the lift you want to buy? It is likely they don't install themselves but would be able to recommend an installer.

I have the Bend Pak HD9 XW and couldn't be happier. The only thing that would make my lift any better is if it had a cup holder.... :lol_hitti

Most lift distributors can put you in touch with the local installers. They will all be third party, the lift manufactures don't typically provide those services as that is part of the reason for having a dealer network.

When I bought my bendpak I inquired about installation. And found the price was $800 delivered and installed with a 1 year labor warranty.

I decided against it, and got a tow truck to bring it to me from the roadway terminal, and I assembled it by myself. (using the guidance from a few threads here from Junkman, Ovilla, e-tek, etc..)

Now that it is done, I wouldn't have it any other way. I fully understand how it works, how to adjust it, and how to maintain it now. As well as how to dismantle it if I sell it or move it someday. It was intimidating to start but wasn't a big deal once your finished.

I'm a national distributor for Bendpak and work with them to coordinate delivery and installation. If I can answer any questions, feel free to contact me at [email protected] or 804-684-8655. I work directly with the factory to make sure your taken care of.

I would highly recommend bendpak. I've got the HD9. A lot of the cheaper lifts have lifting designs that are simply not good engineering practice. Are they safe? Well, you don't hear of many failing, so yes, they probably are. The design differences, though, make bendpack a better built lift with a higher margin of safety.

I bought from these guys-

They are right around the corner from you in Buffalo and will deliver and set up for you. NE Ohio isn't much farther away from Buf than where I am, so I'm guessing they would deliver to you.

I was happy with their service, easy purchase and the lift has worked great.

It's BendPak for me!! You're not gonna find anyone that isn't a fan of them once they've had one or used one. But it's not just the quality and design, it's the customer service, the guys in charge (Jeff - a member here) and the accessory equipment. I added a sliding jack (They used to be rolling) and it's been a great addition. Once you get all the goodies you can go into your own garage and play "mechanic"!
