Thanks for the info. I Looked at the catalog tonight seems as though the snap on 1” drive ratchet handles stack, but not the 3/4”...

Wright 3/4" ratchets can take some serious ****. I have a 24" long 3/4" drive Wright 6400 ratchet and a 4 foot piece of 1" schedule 80 pipe. Break it loose with the pipe and run it in or out with just the ratchet. Makes it a lot easier not having to always swing a 4 foot ratchet.

Facom's relatively new sealed head design ratchets are available in 3/4". What's attractive is the high tooth engagement & dual pawl 120 click design. But I don't thing you can get them in anything more than about 18" of handle length. A 24" with chrome handle would sell fairly well. Using a handle over 24" or say a cheater, I want more than 36 teeth, 120 is much nicer to use.

gray makes an old style 3/4, 24" or 40" handles, you can change it.

I never heard of these guys. Sounds like something to check out.

As far as what i've used I have Caterpillar-snap on, wright, armstrong, SK, a Craftsman copy of the SK, and proto. The Snap on one is the ratchet head I like the least. I have it in 1" drive and have two of them in 3/4" and I almost always go to the SK/Cman copy. I happen to like the Armstrong one nearly as well as the copy though.

I ended up settling on the Snap-On setup. I just got it in and it looks badass. I haven't had a chance to use it yet but I got it with both the long and short bars so I should have whatever I need to do covered. Next time I crack into our batch mixer or our wetting screws I'll know that I've got this beast covered.

You won’t regret the Snap on setup. It’s strong and modular. Cost is perhaps it’s one drawback.

Just don’t get one of those **** *** no heat treat Harbor Fright 3/4” drive ratchets. Those things are always on the tag out table at work. They bend back and forth like frozen butter till they snap or the ratchet pawl breaks. We have OLD Proto and Wright units working right alongside the HF’s that have been in service for decades and subjected to the same use without troubles. Here’s the latest HF victim from last week.

Way to go! I admire you for standing your ground and not letting the cheap people talk you out of it. :)

Quick update, I finally had an excuse to break out the new ratchet. Oh my God this thing is a beast! Made short work of arm install on our Voeller mixer. After gunning the arms on with my ½" Snap-On impact I was able to get an additional quarter turn with minimal effort. 1" bolts. I was always nervous about using such a small gun on these arms though I'd never had one fall off but now I'm totally confident in the installation. Next up, synching up our wetting screws!

Look on ebay. I picked up a brand new williams H-51 Head, which is identical to the Snap on 872L, for 50 bucks plus shipping
Saying that to someone who is fresh off the Snap On truck with a 3/4" ratchet under his arm is just hurtful. Prolly took more than $50- as a deposit for the driver to order the darn thing. Anyway Snappy ratchets are a sure bet, no matter what one pays for one they earn their keep for many years into the future.

I'm more than happy with my purchase and here's how I view it. I pay $35 a week and treat my Snap-On account like an expense account for my job. For $35 a week I get $1,250 credit to use on any tools I need. If I need more than that then I just up my weekly payment and my guy let's me go higher. I've known my dealer now for about 3 years and he's never shot me down when I needed something and I've never shot him down when he needed a little more to cover my account. You can't beat that kind of deal imho.
