I have a shopcraft 10 that I picked up used. I want to buy a couple good blades for this saw (I want to have a couple spares on hand). I know it uses a 3/8 x 57" blade and they recommend 14 TPI for cutting metal, which is all I will use it to cut (mostly sheet from 22 gauge to roughly 10 gauge at most, with a little flat stock and small tubes). Who makes the best metal blades for saws this size and where is the best place to buy them?

Thanks in advance for any wisdom y'all are able to bestow upon me!

Aloha,
You should use a blade that has at least three teeth contacting the work and 14 teeth seems too little for what you are cutting and I would use something like 24.

Proper speed is important too. I doubt you can get that saw to run slow enough for metal, but I don't know that model well enough to speak definitively about it.

Sawbladesdirect is a good spot to get blades, personally I get mine from a local place that has them made to order, takes a few days but they use Lennox stock in whatever tooth count I request.
