Need a couple sockets...

Anybody have any 7/16" and 3/8" deep 1/2" drive sockets that your willing to part with? I have searched pawn shops high and low and can't find these 2 sizes. I know Sears doesn't have them. I'm trying to fill in a couple of gaps on my 1/2" drive socket tray, and who knows, maybe I'll need them someday. Doubt it, but I might!

Yeah, I have dug in buckets of sockets at pawn shops until my fingers were black and still came up short. I found a couple on E-Bay, but either the socket was too much, or shipping was too much...

I have those in my mac 1/2 impact sets (7/16 only in the dep version) and I don't think I have ever used them... and probably never will.

I mean really, 1/4" bolts have a 3/8 head. I don't even know what has a 7/16 head, but I'm sure its nothing I'd want to use my 1/2 breaker bar or impact on!

If I were you I wouldn't bother looking for them so actively.. if you come across them, great. if not, you won't miss them.

Your OCD might miss them, but you wont. I know how it is

I ordered mine from Mike. I think Toptul is the only one making those sizes. Let me go check my overflow box......

Craftsman does make the 7/16. I have one in my box and it is fairly new. It has the lazer etched in the goldish colour. I ordered the 3/8 from Mike. I don't have any deep 1/2" drive spares. Sorry. I do have a full set of Proto shallows though.

Funny- I just ordered one of the 7/16" a few days ago. SK brand, ordered mine from mytoolstore.com (SKT-41814). Got it already. Main reason I got it was it that this one and a 5/32" deep (1/4" drive) were the only 2 missing from my set of mostly Craftsman sockets and this was about the only place I could find them. I may never use it but the empty hole is filled
I see they offer the 3/8" as well (SKT-41812).

yup c-man has the 7/16

SK, Husky (HD) ?, Toptul, and the tool trucks are the only ones I know that have the 3/8"

My 3/8" is a Husky older US socket, not sure if they still make it

I a missing a 3/8 in deep in my MAC set as well. They make the shallow which I have, but no deep. I do have the 7/16 in deep. These are also chrome, not impact sockets. I do not like an empty spot on my peg but I am not worried about it.

I don't think they make 3/8 size in 1/2" drive deep socket; the smallest size starts at 1/2.

Thanks guys for the info! I think I may go the SK or Toptul route. Maybe it is OCD, but I hate having gaps in my socket trays! I know, I know...
