Looking for a good hole punch for working on rubber draper belts on MacDon headers. Need something that will make 7/32 or 1/4 inch holes in rubber belting.

Is there any such thing as a hole punch with an extra deep throat? I always like to leave a belt about 6 inches long when splicing, then trim it after the fact.

Are you looking for a plier type punch, or a hammer type punch? C.S. Osborne makes some for leather that should work. 7/32" is size 8, and 1/4" is size 9. They have a hammer type punch, item UPC 51478 for size 8, 7/32", and item UPC 51480 for size 9, 1/4".

They also have traditional plier style hand punches in single sizes. Osborne refers to them as a Self-Centering Punch. The size 8 punch has an Osborne number 153-8 and UPC 52130. The size 9 has the Osborne number 153-9 and UPC 52132. Replacement punches and dies are sold for them.
