I need to plug a removed antenna hole in a payloader hood (approximatly 1"). I would like either plastic or rubber. Is there such a thing available?

Ya need pretty or functional weather proof? I'd get an expanding freeze plug for an engine block and install that. Whittle a stick that would fit is what my grandpa would have used. A bolt. nut, and a couple of fender washers. Weld in a plug.

I once plugged a hole in the bottom corner of a gas tank with a whittled down piece of tag alder. Flipped up a small piece of steel plate on July third. No place open to attempt a fix.

Slowed down the leak enough that I made it the fifty miles home, through heavy city traffic in suburban Chicago.

Got dicey stopped at traffic lights, since smoking was still a thing in those days, and flipping expended butts wasn’t a no no.

Dumb, but I didn’t explode.
