Need a hole saw case any ideas?

I'm collecting to many hole saws and need to do something. I'm thinking about a cheep gun case, grill utensil case or lastly pick up a HF set and use there case. If I go with HF my set will soon out grow that case if not already.
Any ideas on a good case?

How about just a box with a bolt in the middle,stack all of the hole saws, and then secure them with a wingnut.

I keep min in a Kennedy tool box drawer, lined up at the back of the drawer, with one of those movable drawer dividers set at a slight angle similar to a socket tray.

I just stack them in each other, Have 1, 2 or maybe 3 piles depending how many hole saws you have. Seems to work well.

I nest the hole saws, insert an eye bolt, install a washer and wing nut, then hang them from a hook under a shelf. It takes two eye bolts since some of my hole saws are too close in size to nest properly. This way they really do not even take up any shelf space.

You can make one easy enough. Take a piece of 1x4 or 1x5 and cut 4 pieces to make what ever dimension square or rectangle you need the box to be to hold your stuff. Fasten them together being as crude or fancy as you want to be. Cut 2 pieces of 1/4" or 3/8" plywood to make the top and bottom again attach it as crudely or as fancy as you want. Take the whole shebang and run it through your table saw on all 4 side to split the box. Get some cheap hinges and a hasp from the hardware store. Back in the day when you bought a tool it usually didn't come in a nice metal or plastic box. You had to make that stuff it you wanted it. When I was pounding nails for a living we made some pretty nice stuff on rainy days in the shop. I even made a saddle box for my truck. Of course we were doing trim with backsaws, miter knives and hand nails too. Times change I guess.
