Need a little help

I have a 235 engine and a Offenhauser value cover that leaks near the fire wall. I have tired different sealants but it continues to leak. The value cover is the old style with the two threaded bolts on top. Should I buy a new value cover that is original (not Offenhauser)? Looking forward to hearing from someone that knows a lot more than me!!

Hey TJ, welcome to Gj. As rogsmart mentioned, try posting in one of the general forums where you'll get more coverage. You might also try the HAMB, another of Ryan's boards, which is dedicated to traditional hot rods. Just do an intro and surf around a bit to get a feel for the place first.
