From a Craigslist ad I saw today, always the most reliable place to buy stuff:

Need suckers to buy my overpriced Matco cart - $4500 (Aurora)

I have a Matco Cart that I bought for $4,700 in CASH. I used it in ONLY TWO DEALERSHIPS to hold spritz bottles to spray oil on the underside of customers cars to get them to agree to repairs that they never needed.

Because this cart is in such a awesome condition (despite looking like a tattooed felon) I ask $4500 for it. If I become famous for something, this cart will be COLLECTIBLE.

I am such a TOUGH NEGOTIATOR that I may have a tantrum if you ask any less than my FAIR PRICE OF $4,500. So, please, do not contact me with any lesser offers.

I also have a bunch of used cars for sale under my shade tree. I painted them with the best spray paint from Ace Hardware so they are now worth a lot of money because I used at least three cans of paint per car.

I speculate that the ad above (same as the one on craig's list) was placed by person that went out to look at that toolbox that someone else is selling, he's mocking the guy. I do remember seeing the original ad for that toolbox, I'm thinking of looking for it and sending him an offer of $1500, 29 hardly used slippers and some KFC coupons.

Edit:

Yup, here's the original ad of the guy he's mocking, link.

Kind of sad the guy went through the trouble of making the mock-ad after seeing the price online before inquiring about the box, which despite knowing the asking price beforehand, was offended about the seller not wanting to budge on his own box. Reads like he's the one having a "tantrum" by mocking the ad rather than moving on to the next thing for sale.:headscrat

How do you know he didn't contact the seller? :headscrat He's not making fun of your box is he?

If that was directed at me I wasn't saying he didn't contact the seller. I was saying weather or not he contacted the seller the potential buyer still knew the price of the box from the original ad and if he didn't like the price he should have sucked it up and clicked the next listing rather than going through the trouble of mocking the seller. No, it's not my box or ad, but the guy hinting that the seller had a tantrum was kind of the pot calling the kettle black because of the mock-ad.
