whats everyone using for a regulator at the spray gun?

Looking for something that may have up to 60psi coming in.

the cheapy inline regulators are not much better than pinching the hose, more of a restrictor vs a regulator.

Got a couple mini filters, the one for the paint is a regulator.

RTI MR-1. Build for the purpose. Get the one with the blue knob rather than the red. The blue one is gunwasher safe as it uses Viton seals whereas the red doesn't.

^problem is Im using 3 different guns on same line
I can set it at 110psi at the hose regulator and cut it down to 80 at the gun
for finish nailer and 100 for framing nailer
Im trying one I got from Amazon in a day or so,will see how it works.

Not really, that’s the gauge it comes with as for paint spraying that's the range that is typically used. In fact most modern spray guns never are used above 43 PSIG (3 Bar). I don't know what the maximum regulated pressure would be as it depends upon the spring used against the diaphragm that does the actual pressure regulation. Why would you need to regulate a nail gun don't they come with adjustable stops that prevent the nail from being either under or over driven? My cordless Milwaukee nail guns work that way. I don’t have to adjust the voltage of the battery just the stop.

Depends on which one you get. I've got a few HF mini inline regulators that are actually regulators. Around $5 last time I bought them. Unfortunately, many are also the flow restrictors you describe.

$6 regulator:

$7 NOT regulator (even though it says it is):
