Take a look at the new 1105MAX or 105, both are great tools.

You do not want an IR 1/4 air ratchet,a huge pile of junk.Good at first and then go wimpy even oiling them up reguarly.Had a couple that did this.SK makes the best one out there.IR parts are not cheap.

The tech I worked with before had the snap on far25 and it was a piece of junk, he had it rebuilt twice and even swapped for a new one, it has no power at all, he constantly complained about it. I bought a harbor freight one and its better than it. waste of $300. The far72c on the other hand is amazing... I can't see IR making a bad air tool, but maybe so snap on did. Heard good things about aircat and the HF earthquakes. No need to spend a lot of $$$$ on a 1/4"

I have the HF Eartquake and it has been a great 1/4" air ratchet so far,I use only impact sockets on it.1/4" chrome sockets wear out quickly on these.

The IR1103 is a good ratchet. I have not seen the 105 series put to use yet, so I cannot comment. The Snap On FAR25 is a good ratchet also as suggested. Look into the new Matco MT2814. It produced 45 FT LBS of torque. The only downside, is that it is a little too big for some people's tastes.

Have a couple IRs that went wimpy and one was right after it was rebuilt right. Both are close to go in the scrap pile when it comes time.Matco has a new one out,a smaller version of the 3/8" drive version pitbull air ratchet.
