Last one I bought(5 years?) was a Napa Balkamp (by Lincoln) and had to buy the whip hose seperatly. I'm not sure where it was made (I'll look when I make it back out to the shop) but has been one of the best grease guns I've ever owned. Holds on good and plenty of pressure.
This is the lowest cost US made grease gun Alemite sells, They have real pricey ones too. These are what I use also. The 500 series was moved to India a while ago. The Lubramatic guns are made in Mexico. The Alemite will last you a lifetime. The higher priced Alemite whip hoses are still made here the cheap ones are made in taiwan. The grease guns sold in kits from Green Grease company are still made in US also I don't know who the mfg'r was but they seem ok.
Lincoln has been in and out of biz, bought and sold so many times in the last 40 years I'm not sure what the next day may bring.
