My old helmet is getting worn out (rigging wont stay tight, flip front spring is sloppy so the flip front doesn't close tight anymore) and I'm looking for a new helmet. I don't like auto darkening helmets so I want to stay with a standard model. The ones I've favored are Sellstrom brand helmets but the local dealer has upped the price on them by 30 bucks so I'm looking around again at other brands. I've tried FiberMetal and Jackson and didn't like either of them as much as Sellstrom, the Fiber Metal rigging is too flimsy IMO. Since I cant remember exactly what I didn't like about my Jackson helmet I'm thinking of trying another one but any reccomendations would be welcome. Thanks

Jackson FTW! I have a NexGen auto that set me back huge bucks, but I will absolutely buy another when it dies. They are tanks of helmets.

This is a good deal on their really well made large window ~$31 + shipping (free freight on oreders over $50)

I ordered a Jackson flip front with the regular window, I've never been a huge fan of big windows. I like having a flip front for chipping and grinding or that odd spot where you don't have room to snap the lid down normaly, but a big flip front is just way too big IMO. Anyways, went with a Jackson, hopefully whatever bugged me about my last Jackson wasn't too big of a deal.
