Hey guys, I have a door off a 2nd story deck that gets the full impact of winter storms. The house is on a hill so the rain never comes straight down it comes sideways.
100 MPH gusts are not that uncommon. I'm not kidding. I have a wind gage and I get gusts in the 75 MPH+ range all the time.
The rain water will get around the door and into the house. Last year I just taped up the door with alum duct seal to keep the water out.
I live in CA. So no one sells real storm doors. Just screen doors and glass doors.
Does anyone live in Florida or some where that has hurricanes and could recommend a real storm door that works? I don't need glass or a screen just a real storm proof door.
Thanks for any help.
