Need a recommendation for oil drain pan

Long story short I work on my own cars and I've had a couple of oil drain pans now and each one of them have been ****. Can't seem to find anything that would be worth while. Has to be pretty good sized. Also, no lift so I have to do everything on ramps and jack stands. All the other ones I've had the caps have cracked or the jug itself has warped etc.

One day I got the bright idea to use a plastic mixing tub to catch all the transmission fluid; trouble is, the jack stand was in the way of the optimal location to put the tub. I ended up with a huge puddle anyway. I imagine if the car was up on ramps, the mixing tub would've worked out sweet.

I have the rhino gear less mess drain pan and it is awesome. The oil filter drainage shelf is great and it is really easy to pour the oil into jugs from the pan.

i use one similar, if not identical to this one. the filter drain is useful at times. it doesnt make a mess when emptying into the 6 gallon used oil jugs i use. changed oil on three cars just today with it.

cant beat it for less than 10 bucks

I used to cut the side out of an antifreeze jug and leave the cap on. When it was time to pour out the old oil, I just unscrewed the cap and let it flow out of the neck. It had a small footprint, but could get under low clearances.

Those work well for catching coolant too. I have one at the house and one at work, 10 gallon versions. They're $6 from Home Depot.

I also have the Lisle one that is listed first and have used it for years. It works fine. It might not be large enough to hold all the oil from larger vehicles than regular cars and trucks. I wish it were just a bit wider so as to be sure of catching the drips from the filter as well as the draining oil. If I could get a wider one I would buy it.

I've been meaning to pick one of these up for a while now. I have a half dozen or so lisle oil pans, both open and closed tops that work alright but it seems like I still get a few splatter drops around the pan that I think the larger mixing tub would catch. I was looking at getting the square drain pan adapters that sell for 30-40 bucks to get a bigger foot print to catch the splatter but then someone on here said they used mixing tubs. Much better idea for under ten bucks.

My drain pan started off looking like this one in the Walmart link. My specific pan is actually Blitz brand and I got it used at a garage sale, so I don't know if they are still available from Blitz.
