Need a sealer for smooth concrete

I spent the last couple of days removing paint and rough spots from my floor and would like to coat it. Through all the cleanup my floor has developed a really nice patina that I would like to accentuate with something that has some gloss to it. However, the surface is pretty smooth. Most areas still take water, but there are some spots where water will bead. Does anyone have or could recommend anything for my situation.

Is this stuff the stuff they use at Home Depot???
My home depot and lowes have concrete floors that have something on it that looks awesome... In my next garage I want to put clear stuff in stead of painting it every couple of years to make it look good...
What do you think they use......

Older THD stores are polished (over 400) with a stain guard (HD-7940).
Newer THD stores are honed (400 grit or less) and treated with an acrylic material that makes a 400 hone look like an 800 polish.

Bottom line, unless you can rent this equipment and are experienced in polishing it's not a good direction for a DIY.

Polishing does not prevent staining so another reason to look at a topical treatment.

Many retail stores use (2) coats of our HD-015, mellow gloss, clear sealer with good chem. resistance to common garage chemicals.

do the larger industrial type warehouses, home depots and lowes, not also densify their floors?

I see in your signature you sell these products. would the average garage journal member benefit from densifying, and what would that entail prep and procedure wise...could you put a clear epoxy down after?

Yes, they typically densify when polishing.
We do sell them.

Read our tech data for procedure. However, most folks apply with a pump-up deck sprayer.
You could put a clear down later after properly preparing the floor, later.

I'm not interested in staining or anything of the like. I just want a product to function well for cleanup. Is the product you mention of here something that would apply to my wants?
