My wife and I are closing on our first home right now. I want to get a fresh sealer down on the garage before we start using it. There is definitely an old sealer on it right now but it is fairly worn.

I would like to put down either epoxy or get a nice polish done but we have to buy all new furniture as we have virtually nothing. I am prioritizing my Newage Cabinets over the fancy floor until summer rolls around and/or funds permit

Can anyone recommend a halfway decent acrylic sealer that I can pick up at Lowes and Home Depot? I live in Alaska..... I really dont want to pay hazmat shipping for a sealer that will be replaced in the relatively near future.

Thanks in advance.

Here is my (soon to be) blank canvas. Snapped this pic during the inspection. 860sq ft (1000sq ft if you include the added arctic entry).

Without knowing what is there you can't really put something on top of it without taking what is there. If it was me, I would use the garage and then when the time comes, plan on a full grind, which you should do anyway.

If you have vehicles that leak put cardboard or an Oil Dri Mat or Drymate Mat or even a Containment Mat.

If you don't have leaks, don't stress about it.
