Need a Sink!

Hello All,
I'm having problems finding a garage sink. I looked at Lowes and all I found was really cheap and SHORT (only 30" to 34" high) sinks. I'm looking for a very durable PVC or polyeurothane sink that will sit 40 inches high. Worst case, I'll build a base for it and make it the right height, but I'd rather not re-invent the wheel if there's already something out there.

Why don't you purchase the laundry tub type sink you described above, but without the tub stand. If they do not have just the tub without the stand alone ask them to special order the tub only, either HD or Lowes should be able to do this. Then build your stand to suit. I worked for HD Topeka a couple years ago and we had this type of sink available with or without the stand, Hope this helps.

I forgot to add, unfortunately I have not seen one of those types of sinks yet that did not look cheap, I hope you find one with a higher quality appearance!

Must it be a deep laundry tub type sink? I use a plain old kitchen sink in a base cabinent in my shop. If I need to wash something that requires more space than thet I do it in the driveway with the pressure washer

Yeah, try searching the thread on sinks, I think its like 3-4 pages back, but dont hold me too it. I remember there were some really good ideas and brand recomendations in there.

I had good luck with used restaurant equipment (stainless steel sinks and shelves) that I bought on Ebay. The quality is true commercial standards.
