I have a flexzilla 35' green hose 3/8" and love it. Problem is when I am dusting out the garage or dusting a small item with the blow gun attachment it's a waste for me to get the larger hose out for something I am going to do there...

Does anyone recommend a nice, light, smaller hose that I can pretty much just use with an blowgun attachment?

I saw something online that someone made but didn't book mark it..

I was thinking coiled hose but those look like a pain in the ***.. I know my girls coiled garden hose is a piece of **** and it kinks ALL the time.

I don't mind a 20' length or so, just something that is NOT as big as the flexzilla... and it must be bendable..lol
No hard plastic unbendable hose please..haha

Thanks,
-Nigel

I have several shorter Black rubber air hoses I have picked up at Harbor freight . I know you can get them as short as 8' and they are 3/8" hose.

poly hoses are a ***** to coil back up, although if its a short 20' it might be okay. Ive got a 1/4 coiled for the quicky jobs, but I dont try to walk around the shop with it. Then I have a 15' 1/4 rubber hose, sometimes gets attached to the coiled hose. Then a 50' 3/8 rubber. And finally a 100' 3/8 poly for those long runs to the house.

I have a small recoil type hose reel mounted in the machine shop side of my shop. It came with a poly hose that swelled with the 110# pressure on my system. I replaced the poly hose with some 3/16" (3/8" O.D.) fuel line that I had in stock. I used barbed fittings and worm hose clamps to attach the fittings on the ends. It has been in use now for nearly 20 years with no problems. It is small and very flexible. I mostly use it with a blow gun but occasionally I use an air stapler on it. I have a standard Milton coupler on the free end. It is too small to run much else but it sure is a handy size for where I use it.

I don't have a hose reel, mainly because I have no where to put it in my garage.. everyone that I have looked at is very large plus then I have to keep my compressor stationary and can't move it out of my garage if need be..

I don't mind rubber hose as my flexzilla is but it just seems a waste to get the hose out to blow out the garage..lol

Is there a good hose reel that ISN'T huge... I just have a hard time hanging something that is the size of a large box on the wall..lol

I guess teh 1/4" flexzilla would be fine at a smaller length as well!
