Looking for an affordable source of faux brick to put on front of garage. The one I found will be about $2500 - 3000 for 200 sq ft. Seems kinda high to me...

I'm looking for the same, and found about the same pricing. Hoping to go with the foam based to get a little more R value.

I used Fusion stone not sure if its available in the U.S. but was a good product and easy to install. Although the location a chimney on top of a 12/12 pitch roof wasn't exactly the easiest spot to get brick to

We used Z-Brick some years ago, VERY happy.

Appears to be very roughly 1/2 your pricing.

Around $6.50/ sq ft.

Lowes carries it, so possibly "free " shipping.

I got some real stone veneer from Menards (sorry, none in TN) for about $4.50 a square foot.
HD should have similar stuff in the form of brick veneer. Goes up like tile. Layers are:
Double plastic sheeting
Cement board screwed to studs, mesh taped joints
Thinset tile cement
Stone veneer, tight set, no joints.
Sealer.
