I'm new to this group and I have several questions. I'm buying a house that has existing detached 25x25 concrete pad. It appears to be at least 4" thick, but has no perimeter footing.
I would like to build garage (a little larger than 25x25) on the pad.
1) Is it viable to add footing & perimeter slab for 30x30 and tie into existing slab?
2) How would I tie into slab?
3) What is best strategy for insulating, given 25x25 slab already in place?
