I did some searching here but couldn't find any good threads on buying two post garage lifts. I'm looking for something between the low cost Chinese death traps and the high end Bendpaks. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Either existing discussions or their own preferences based on experience.

Here's a YouTube of the garage space:

I have a Mohawk lift. It's probably 20 years old. Mine was used daily for about 10 years. Still in great shape. Would highly recommend it.

Is it fair to say a reasonable price for a residential garage two post should be somewhere in the range between $1600 and $2300? ... And that with lifts costing under $1500 new; one should suspect an inferior, or even dangerous, product?
