Need advise on how to fix cement corner

I am working on fixing the parging on the house and when I got to this corner, I got a little surprise. I've chipped away all the loose cement so I am wondering on how to go about fixing this corner.
I don't suppose parging mix would be what I use to fix this. I also tough of putting in some tapcon srews leaving the head sticking out a bit to have something to grab on to.
I need some advise on how to do this properly. Many thanks.

I have a very similar issue...I was thinking of cutting it horizontally at the bottom of the affected area...chipping out the extra material to get a uniform vertical surface rather than the current slant...then drilling in some holes for rebar...then clamping on some sort of plywood form with a 1" hole at the top...then forcing in a cement mix...kinda like a cake decorating bag.

I'd use a latex modified patching concrete which can bond to your other concrete or regular bagged mix and add some latex binder used in tile flooring.. Quikrete makes a product small enough for that..

That's similar- noticed you are CANADA.

you need to be able to shape it so it does not fall over and you can work with it fast enough. I'd get some painters tape with new sprint paper to mask the bottom edge- the polymers can stick where you may not want it. Add small quantities of water to get a wet but firm consistency. Have a nylon brush or sponge handy with spray water hose to lightly wipe the surface when it starts to set up.

Another trick is to take a brush or broom and pat the bristle ends to surface to match the surrounding texture. Again do after you get the shape close and it starts to dry on the surface.

I plan on putting on a layer of parging cement after I fix the area as I'm re-doing the parging on the house. I would think that would be OK??

Get some Portland Cement and add some latex in a bottle for masonry and you shouldn't have a issue with the parging breaking off.
