Hey guys I'm a little stumped on this one. I'm brain-storming for a project and want to use 1/4" OD steel like is on one of the adapters for my brake bleeder. On this adapter there is a Tru-Flate style air fitting. It appears to be threaded onto the 1/4" OD steel line.
My question is with regard to the fitting threaded onto the steel line. I don't seem to find one like it anywhere so I could check the thread size and pitch. Is it possibly custom made for this application?
In actuality, for the project I'm planning I would probably just want 1/4" NPT male threads instead of the quick-connect fitting. But what I'm stumped on is the other end that I could thread onto the 1/4" pipe. What are my likely options for threading onto this size pipe?
