I got a new house and garage and it's time to step up from my tired old twin stack air compressor. I had an Ingersoll portable 120v vertical that was nice but my brother snagged it. I can wire it for 240v.

I was going to get the IR $1500 60 gallon vertical, but after some reading I learned about the made in the USA quincy and the QT-54 is on sale for not much more. I don't need 175psi though. I do have a bead blast cabinet that is an air hog, air tools, and a HVLP spray gun that I occasionally use. I also want to get a plasma cutter that needs more air than my twin stack can put out.

You can adjust the cutout pressure, if needed, but it’s probably already set down to about 160 psig. 175 is it’s rated maximum output pressure. Put in appropriately rated piping or tubing and regulate the pressure at point of use. Adds a couple of regulators instead of just one to regulate all the plumbing. Much easier to dial in your pressure needs that way.

Hello, I have a brand new Quincy QT-54 pump for sale if you are interested? I got it in a trade deal about a year ago and it has been sitting on top of one of my cylinders collecting dust! When I got it it still had the plastic caps on the intake and pressure ports on the heads and the oil is crystal clear. If you are interested I can take better pictures and blow the dust off a bit for you!? $600 plus shipping
