Need an air compressor

Hey all, I need an air compressor. I dont need a big one (read, I do not need a 60 gallon), but a mid size in the 35-45 gallon size would be great. I could probably find a spot for a 60 gallon with a GREAT deal, but I dont need/want a large one.

I have been looking at something like this Husky:

http://www.homedepot.com/p/Husky-30...Air-Compressor-C301H/203187352#specifications

Though there are offerings from Craftsman, Ingersoll Rand, and more.

This will be used for general air stuff like airing up tires and blowing off sawdust from the table saw, etc. Minor use for things like impact wrenches or air ratchets, and probably some use with a small blast cabinet, a table top version that requires 5CFM.

Cheaper is better, but would like to step up from an oil-less compressor.

I am checking on the local Craigslist, but anyone know of any hot deals?

Mods, feel free to move if needed. According to the rules, this was the correct place to post:

Welcome to the brand spanking new "Hot Deals" forum. This forum is a place for you to do two things:

1. Find great deals on garage/tool related objects from all over the internet.

2. Post great deals on garage/tool related objects that you have found yourself.

If I got it wrong, my bad.

I was looking for a hot deal...

They got a big boy bostitch at walmart for like 90 bucks. Don't know that I'd buy it but maybe in your ballpark. They also have a husky for fathers day that's got a ratchet and impact + air hoses/fittings but it's a bit too expensive in my opinion (over 150?)

I don't see that bostitch on their website (or maybe I got the price wrong) but they have it in store I think for "father's day". I know it's upright and fairly large and I believe it's under 100 bucks. Saw it last week. Maybe call one up and ask them if they got something like that.

I was going to say the IR that Super Sport pointed out. I personally just bought a husky 33 gal about a year ago and love it! No problems yet :)

I know this is smaller than you're looking for, but Sears seems to be discontinuing the IR 20 gallon that they carry in store. It's a quality unit with solid reviews, better than the slightly larger store brand units IMO. You'd probably get the display model, but they're around $200 off!

The IR is definitely on the list, but my local Sears stores either have it at ~$525 still, or at the outlet it is about $390 + tax. A decent price, and I am looking at it.

Was it this one? http://www.walmart.com/msharbor/ip/26913688

At under $100 I would probably be interested, but at $250 I dont think I am. Id rather spend an extra bit to get a better compressor.

Was curious about this one for a friend but everyone says get something with a pulley. Can you tell what high CFM tools you run it with like HVLP, sand blaster, etc? Thanks
