Need an angle die grinder

I'm tired of borrowing my coworkers so What's a good die grinder? I don't want to spend any more than $80.

I was looking at a CP875 but I want something quiet like an Aircat, are those any good?. I will mainly be using it with scotchbrite pads.

I use the more expensive HF die grinder (if you take a look at them in the store, the $30 model is WAY better than the less-expensive model...just by feel/sound, I'm pretty sure it has ball bearings in it) I've been using it hard for exactly that (ROLOC surface conditioning and sand paper pads) and it has served me well.

Eventually, by plan is to have a Chicago Pneumatic 9106Q-B angle grinder, (22K speed), but they are in the range of $110. Most of Chicago Pneumatics's stuff seems to be built overseas anyway. For the price of $30, I have been more than pleased with the grinder. I don't see the model I have online, though. I went to the store and bought the model which was nearly $30.

I work in a body shop my die and angle grinders get used probably at least 10-15 times a day. I use the cheap ones from harbor freight. All the big tool truck don't have more than a one year warranty. I figured I'd just buy a new one from hf as needed. Turns out I've had the same ones for over year so I'd say I got my 9.99 worth out of them and then some

The reason I was looking at the CP 9106 is that it is the 'quiet' version (which I don't suppose means much to me...I pretty much always wear ear plugs in the garage. Even if I have quiet air tools (like the IR air saw), when the compressor kicks in, I need the earplugs anyway.)

As happy as I am with the more-expensive HF air grinders, I might just get a couple more of them and keep them set up for different tasks.

This is a good one for under $80:

IR 3101G

I believe thats my go to grinder for rolocs. I have some of the MAC cheapies in the twin pack out fitted with wire wheels and a long reach roloc. They vibrate like hell and get cold quickly. I find that IR grinder is much more pleasant to use especially for long periods

I prefer the traditional safety trigger and the shorter length over the Aircat.
